A Message from the Principal
On behalf of everyone at Northside Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the Northside website. Northside is a Title 1 School, and we proudly proclaim that our students are some of the best in our state! This is possible through the hard work of our students, teachers, parents, and community. Northside’s mission statement emphasizes our belief that "with the support of faculty, parents, and community, students can grow to their potential and become life-long learners". The staff at Northside fully supports this mission.

It is our goal to establish a positive learning environment where everyone believes that every student can learn, where respect is honored, where wholesome values are taught, and where students can grow happily through their childhood. We work diligently to make sure that every student finds success. Northside has a firm tradition of focusing on excellence, and each day we strive to become a better school. We place a heavy emphasis on academic excellence, citizenship, character development, and community service. We want all of our students to leave Northside well prepared for the next stage of their lives.

As principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our front doors is happy and excited to be here. This includes all of our students, staff, parents, and visitors. This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, nurturing, and fun environment. You will surely notice many special things on a visit to Northside - the warm and friendly atmosphere, our intelligent, creative, and inquisitive students, our dedicated teachers and staff, our supportive and involved parents, and the meaningful learning activities that are taking place. Our students and staff emphasize three important things as we go about our day: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Northside’s website is filled with information! Various links will allow you to receive more information on curriculum or offer support for our students. You can also catch up on all the latest school news by signing up for our emails and texts by following the information found on the home page.

We depend on feedback from our stakeholders to let us know how we are doing. We welcome your comments, suggestions, questions, and concerns. We encourage your involvement, and we appreciate your support.
